A grey and silver damask is the star of this collection paired with deep teals and pewter hardware. Though the color palette is simple, the textural differences in each of the leathers is what really makes these pieces special. 

The original inspiration for this colorway was the Aetheric Ocean theme at last year’s Clockwork Alchemy and some of the incredible nautical costumes we saw there, but the Victorian vibes from the damask print also lend themselves well to the haunted mansion aesthetic. 

So yeah, sunken ships, peeling wallpaper, ghostly brigands, and the kind of mermaids you should really shouldn’t turn you back on. That’s Forty Fathoms.

The Ranger Holster

The Ranger is the iconic Krakenwhip pocket holster. Worn over the shoulders like a vest, each pocket side of the holster hangs along the side of the body keeping your things close at hand. Each pocket side is attached to the shoulders with Lobster Claps making it easy to swap the sides of the pocket setups depending on your hand dominance and where you like to keep your stuff. 

The lobster clasps can also be used to adjust the angle of the pockets and enable the wearer to remove the holster quickly and easily without shoulder contortions. Each of our holsters feature 24 weight bearing D-rings, any of which can easily hold a full water bottle. (Though we don’t recommend hanging your water bottle from the pocket flaps; save those ones for lighter, more decorative items to avoid distorting the shape of your pockets.)

Each Ranger comes with one large pocket originally sized for an e-reader (so it definitely holds your phone) while the other side has two smaller pockets which are perfect for card wallets, keys, earbuds, lip balm, and other everyday essentials. Each pocket side also includes a sneaky zipper pocket on the inside for all your sneaky zipper pocket needs. 

***Important Sizing Information***

We make our holsters in four sizes, each of which has three settings so we can accommodate 12 shoulder widths. Use the double snaps in the back to adjust the shoulder width on your holster for the perfect fit. 

There are two main measurements that are relevant to getting the right holster fit; the width of the shoulders, and the distance from the top of your shoulder to the top of the pocket. Please consult our sizing chart for the measurements on each of our standard holster sizes to find the one that fits you best.

We highly recommend also taking the time to “try out” the pocket placement on your body with a measuring tape to get a feel for where the pockets will hang on your body and what it will feel like to access them.
